Hands of Christ Deaf Ministry

Deaf Worship

First United Methodist Church
325 E. Franklin Street, Appleton, WI 54911

We worship in the small chapel at First United Methodist Church. Please note, although Mapquest, Yahoo! Maps and Google Maps show differently, the church is located on Franklin, Washington, and Drew Streets in Appleton.

Dates

We usually worship on the third Sunday of each month, at 10:15am, but sometimes if there is a special occasion, like Christmas Eve or a visiting pastor, we may worship on a different Sunday or at a different time.

For the 2009 Easter season, check the schedule below for Worship dates, times, and locations. We're doing something a little different this year. Everyone is welcome to join us, so come worship with us!

Travel Sunday

From September through May each year, the Hands of Christ Deaf Ministry Choir "travels" to various hearing churches around northeastern Wisconsin. Its purpose is to inspire our brothers and sisters in Christ with the message of Christ's love for everyone, and to share information about our Deaf ministry and Deaf Culture.

To avoid burning out, the Choir members get a well-deserved summer break during June, July and August. When the new Travel Sunday schedule becomes available, it will be posted here. Normally, Travel Sundays are the second Sunday of each month, but sometimes that can change. Keep an eye on the schedule when it's posted, and if the Choir comes to a church near you, feel free to come and watch them there!
